Life Celebration, Memorial

Losing a loved one is a delicate and difficult journey. Saying goodbye with warmth, dignity, and respect is paramount, but it can also bring added pressure. With empathy and compassion, I am here to help alleviate that pressure and create a service that honours the unique life of your loved one.

Whether you prefer a traditional funeral, a bespoke life celebration, or a memorial, I strive to craft a ceremony that reflects your wishes and cherished memories. You can include prayers and hymns, poems, jokes, readings and music of any genre, I respect your beliefs and philosophy, ensuring the best possible farewell.

You are not limited to a church or crematorium. Your goodbye can take place in your back garden, a sports stadium, the local pub, a hilltop, or any special location meaningful to your loved one and those who mattered to them.

Having experienced personal loss, I understand the importance of a meaningful and comforting service. My goal is to provide a space filled with love, kindness, and strength, offering solace and support during this challenging time. Remembering your loved one in a positive light and the legacy they leave.

I would be honoured to walk alongside you, before, during, and after the service. Whether you seek a traditional service or a bespoke life celebration, I am here to help you every step of the way.

What to expect in our first meeting:

Understandably, during this delicate time, you may feel anxious about what lays ahead.

Firstly, our face-to-face meeting is designed to understand your wishes and the type of service you would like. There will be a few questions to ensure the words are right, prompt your memories, and make sure everything is in place for the personalised service you need.

I will offer you the option to record our first meeting, allowing me to focus entirely on listening to you.

A safe place to cry, laugh, and talk.

I will review the recording to create your bespoke script and send you a draft.

Once the script meets your approval, I promise to delete the original recording.

If you wish, you can request a copy for your moments to remember.

Crematoriums offer services starting from 20 minutes. If you prefer a longer service, or alternative service arrangements we can discuss other available options.

Here for you throughout your delicate journey.

Beyond your service, I offer courtesy calls to check in on you.

If you wish, we can keep in regular contact.

Additionally, I support a grief café.

If you feel comfortable to, please join us.*

This is a community group, not a counselling session, led by caring individuals

 with experience and listening skills.

We talk and listen to each other, offering support for all kinds of loss and grief.

Everyone is welcome, and it is a safe place to share your personal experiences.

*N.B. We are currently undergoing relocation for the grief café which I will update as soon as possible. Pleas do not hesitate to contact me.
