All your moments you wish to celebrate will be respectfully and professionally supported and each celebration package will include:
Gifted sapling tree planted by National Trust with digital certificate.
Beautifully presented keepsake of your ceremony; printed on handmade, wildflower seed, pollinator friendly, paper. Plus a hand folded, origami, 'bag of positivity' for your moments to remember with origami butterfly clasp.

Personal Poems:
Crafting personal poems to add depth to your ceremony and provide a cherished keepsake for future memories.
Invitations/Cards:
Designing unique invitations or cards that can be scanned and printed. I can assist with ordering and organizing the printing process.
Sugar Crafted Cake Toppers:
Creating one-off sugar crafted toppers for your special occasion. Each detail is meticulously crafted, if you chose a flower topper, every petal is hand-rolled and veined and sugar dusted to match your colour scheme.
(Please Note: cake toppers are exclusively available for clients requesting a ceremony with Purple Magnolias and are not for general sale)
Ceremony Script Writing:
Writing your ceremonies for a family member or friend to deliver, if you prefer a more personal touch.
All bespoke services are crafted from a blank page, ensuring a unique creation every time.
Please note, additional services will incur costs based on the price of materials, preparation, and time required.
However for ceremony script writing there will be a reduction cost as the service will not be celebrant-led. Please discuss options.

Poems.
Poems can tell or enhance stories, highlight humorous moments or be abstract concepts to give us food for thought and many other feelings. Poetry is an art form that uses language in creative and expressive ways to evoke imagination and emotions. They can be epic or short, written, spoken, or performed. Poems, poetry verse, however you wish to term them, sometimes rhyme or not, usually have rhythm, may include metaphors.
Poems are a very free way of writing and can be created very individually.
Downs Banks is a memory of my childhood, a place I loved, and still do and have been creating new moments to remember through taking my grandchildren and dog walks. Mind you in the 40 plus years since this memory it's changed but is as beautiful as ever.
A walk along the canal with the jack rascals and reading a poem I wrote around 1979 called 'A Place.'
Downs Banks
Gentle breeze ruffles the grass,
swaying it from silver to green.
Like waves crashing against the shore,
a spectacular sight to be seen.
First up the banks we would run,
just to see the horses galloping free.
Through fields of blue lavender,
a most intoxicating place to be.
Roll back down to the river.
A tyre swing on the old Big Oak.
The oldest would be the last to go,
but he’d be first for a fizzy coke.
On the blanket we would sit,
finishing off our sandwiches and pop,
wearing sandals made of jelly.
Then into the water we would plop.
Shelter in the whispering willows from,
the overwhelming sun, pounding hard.
Wallowing in the warm summer wind.
A day away from our backyard.

Terms and Conditions
Ceremony Packages:
- Upon engaging with Purple Magnolias' services, you will be required to complete a booking form and pay a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 or 20% of the total cost incurred. This will secure your booking, and we will begin creating your 'One-of-a-Kind' ceremony.
- The full balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the date of your ceremony or 3 days prior if the arrangements for your service which is within 4 weeks.
Life Celebrations:
- Any arrangements made in collaboration with Funeral Directors will be included in their fees, and Purple Magnolias will collect payment from them.
- For life celebration arrangements made directly through Purple Magnolias, a 20% deposit is required upon agreement of service, and the full balance must be paid 24 hours prior to the ceremony.
Payment Methods:
- Bank transfer (BACS) or cash.
- Purple Magnolias does not currently conduct online payments.
Concerns and Complaints:
- If you have any concerns regarding Purple Magnolias' services, please speak to us directly to resolve any issues. If you are not satisfied with the outcome and your concern is related to our services, please contact the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC) with your enquiry.
