Your Ceremony is all About You
Booking a celebrant means you can have the unique, individual ceremony you wish for. One that reflects you, your beliefs, lifestyle and shows your personalities, anywhere, anytime, and in any season.
You will need to choose the 'right' celebrant for you.
If you decide to choose me to walk alongside you, a magnolia garden, woodlands or castle, hot air balloon, include your dog, any time of year, in wellies, if needed, Yes!
Jumping out of an aeroplane or deep sea diving, sorry, would be a No! Please do not despair there will be celebrants who say I do!
Currently, in England and Wales Independent Celebrants cannot legally marry you, and for the legal bits, you would need to be married by a registrar.
This can be carried out at the registry office, with two witnesses, and can take place before or after your unique celebrant-led ceremony. You do not have to have the rings blessed or read your vows, you can save these rituals to share with friends and family at your celebrant-led wedding ceremony.
Costs start around £60.00 for basic marriage, there is also a registry fee per person; details will need to checked with your local registry office.
Why have a celebrant if they are not able to do the legal bits?
Firstly the flexibility of having your celebration ceremony where you wish with landowner or venue permissions.
You are not constrained to licenced premises.
You also get to know your celebrant and vice versa.
You choose what you want to say and include in your ceremony. Not restricted by a template and specifically binding words.
You can write your own vows, with help too if you wish.
You do not meet or get to know a registrar until the day you marry.
If you choose me to walk alongside you:
I will work on your script with you up to the day before the ceremony if needed, so that you can make any last-minute adjustments, or practices, even just a chat, if this helps you.
I will only deliver your wedding/commitment ceremony on your special day, and not be rushing off, you will be my focus.
I will arrive at the venue at least an hour before your ceremony starts.

Getting to know you:

Working in collaboration with all involved for the day.
Only delivery of your ceremony on your special day, arriving at least an hour before.
Travel costs, on the day included, within 30 miles radius of Stafford.
Gifted sapling tree planted by National Trust with digital certificate.
Beautifully presented keepsake of your ceremony; printed on handmade, wildflower seed, pollinator friendly, paper. Plus a hand folded, origami, 'bag of positivity' for your moments to remember with origami butterfly clasp.
‘You could have your ceremony inside or outside. If the venue you hope for has magnolia trees we can check the season, it/they, bloom, which would make a beautiful backdrop for your photo moments & memories'.

Planting on your special day:
Introduction of the significance of the tree/plant ritual.
Outdoor service; will depend on landowner permission, preparation of ground needed, option to plant in a pot and transfer later.
Indoor service; In the pot as part of the blessing ceremony. Soil is added from your own pots, showing your individual contributions.

Planting a tree or sewing seeds will be a beautiful photographic opportunity and moment to remember. The ritual signifies how your life will take root from the day of your marriage/commitment, and your love will grow and flourish throughout the years.

Vow Renewal
There are many reasons why people decide to renew their vows.
A vow renewal ceremony is a beautiful way to show your continued love and commitment.
You may wish to celebrate a milestone anniversary.
Your ceremony can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.
You can include your original wedding vows or write new ones that reflect your journey.
Your vow renewal is purely ceremonial therefore you do not need a marriage license and there are no legal documents involved.
You can have your ceremony anytime, anywhere, with or without family and friends.
You can have choose anyone to deliver your ceremony.
Commitment
There are many reasons why people decide to have a commitment ceremony as opposed to getting married.
You may wish to commit to each other and have a celebration, without the legal requirements.
You may have shared many years together or new to love and the marriage institute is not for you.
You can choose anywhere you like to celebrate as there is no requirement for a licensed venue.
You may like the idea of including some meaningful traditions in your ceremony.

Terms and Conditions
Following our informal chat should you wish to engage with Purple Magnolias services, you will be required to complete a booking form and pay a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 or 20% of the total cost incurred.
This will secure your booking in my diary and we will begin creating your 'One-of-a Kind ceremony.
The full balance must be paid 4 weeks prior the date of your special day.
